Moto Guzzi Norge - Norge Gets the 8V-Engine

Three years ago Moto Guzzi introduced the 8V-version of their legendary V2-engine and it has since spread to the Griso, Stelvio and the Sport models. It being fitted into the company's big touring bike Norge was only a matter of time, and it's happening now for the upcoming season. The older model will continue in production as well.

The powerline of the Norge GT's 8V-engine is nothing different, the engine produces over 100 HP and a torque of 110 Nm at 5800 RPM. After it's dry clutch comes the 6 speed transmission, which continues into the Moto Guzzi patented carefree and inconspicuous CA.R.C rear suspension, hiding the shaft drive all in one.

The 23 litre fuel tank suits the touring bike well. Compared to the previous model, the suspensions basic settings have been adjusted to ensure an accurate driving experience, without compromising the comfort. You can adjust the pretense of both the front and rear shocks, in the back with a quick adjust knob too. In addition, you can adjust the rebound of the rear suspension.

Moto Guzzi has redesigned the fairings slightly to achieve better cover against the elements and also to direct the heat of the motor away from the passengers. To increase the comfort of the motorcycle, Moto Guzzi has altered the design of the saddle lightly and in addition, they have changed the material of it. They have also added a rubber coating on the foot pegs to absorb some of the vibrations from the engine. Finishing touch with the spacious panniers and top case, ABS brakes and an easy-to-use middle stand, Moto Guzzi has redesigned the already good bike into a luxury touring motorcycle.
